What customers say?

“ This place is a hidden treasure! We have been staying in the vicinity of La Morra for several days, during which we went out for dinner on a daily basis (Verduno, Barolo, La Morra). This place was our favorite by far! The food is, without a doubt, amazing! The athmosphere is wonderful; typically Italian. The hosts were very kind, helpful and extremely welcoming. This restaurant should be fully booked at all times! Even the price was very fair (aperitivo, secondi and desert, including wine and coffee = €40 p.p.). It is quite easy to get there by car, it's about a 10 minute drive from Verduno. If you even consider having dinner here, don't second guess yourselves! You'll have a meal of a life-time. ”

“ La Volta Rossa is a small restaurant off the beaten path. The dishes, well-balanced and carefully crafted, are exquisite. The simplicity of the presentation highlights the authentic flavor of the ingredients. The exquisite use of local products and recipes makes this restaurant a little gem among the Laghe hills. One of the highlights (something very rare to find) is the simple menu, featuring a few courses, yet offering various vegetarian options. The owners are passionate about what they do—he in the kitchen and she in the dining room—and they captivate with every course. I recommend this place for its authenticity, the family-friendly atmosphere, the quiet setting, and above all, the excellent food. Piedmontese dishes blended with the magic of the Langhe and a love of cooking make this place a truly delightful experience. ”

“ The day was blessed with splendid sunshine and unexpectedly summery temperatures, making the trek between Roddi and Verduno a true pleasure. Walking through the Langhe hills immersed in the vibrant autumn colors was refreshing for the eyes and the spirit. The landscapes are simply breathtaking. To crown this day, we chose the "La Volta Rossa" restaurant in Roddi. We opted for the menu featuring mushrooms, a true celebration of autumn flavors. The quality of the dishes was excellent: everything was carefully prepared and of the highest standard. A culinary experience that reflected and enhanced the authenticity of the area. Thanks to the Chef! ”

“ This is our second time here, and we've always left very satisfied. The quality and deliciousness of the dishes is superb; the homemade breadsticks, bread, and pasta are truly delicious. Excellent and friendly service, with the dishes delivered promptly (just right). The atmosphere is beautiful and refined, with soft background music that enhances the pleasure of good food! We'll definitely be back in the future! ”

“ A beautiful, warm, and welcoming place. An excellent menu. All the dishes are served with care, creativity, and incredibly delicious! The first courses were excellent, and for the second course, I found the cisra', tripe with chickpeas and potatoes, to be delicious. The wine list is excellent. The quality/price ratio is definitely good. We'll definitely be back to try the other dishes on the menu. ”

“ A warm and welcoming place offering an excellent menu of Piedmontese dishes. The owner is very kind and friendly! The homemade breadsticks, served with the bread, are delicious. I opted for the €45 tasting menu, which featured generous portions, served with care and creativity. The wine list is also excellent. Definitely a place worth returning to. Recommended if you're passing through Roddi or the surrounding area. ”

“ Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious and aesthetically pleasing dishes. Welcoming place. The menu offers several vegetarian options. I recommend the cheese board (found on the dessert menu). A free appetizer is offered. Note: You have to ring the bell to enter and go down the stairs, so I don't believe there is wheelchair access. ”
